Videos me and my mates made when we were little.

the summer holiday of 2004 me and a few friends invested in a digital camera and spent hours and hours filming random things and editing on movie maker. the videos below are some of the first videos i ever made, i realise the quality is crap and the editing is very poor however these videos mean alot to me because the making of them made me realise what i wanted to do at university. have a look at them, i hope they make you laugh.

My pencil Tattoo drawings

these are a few of my pencil tattoo designs, i never did very well in art at school but iv always had a thing for drawing random pictures such as these ones, later on in life i realised that they would make good tattoos and i have had a few of them done already and hope to get a few more when i have the money. if anyone would like one of these drawings as a tattoo or any i upload in future i have no problem with that, i would consider it an honour that somebody wants my designs scarred onto them.

skullcandy headphones

Think about what goes on in your head when u buy something new, take a photo of your favourite designed object and answer the following.

Why is it that we want our belongings to do more for us than to function well.

Why are we willing, as soon as we can afford it, to pay extra for things with appealing form.

Skull candy headphones are a stylish brand named headphone, infact they are the last gadget I bought. I purchased the headphones from Tamworth snow dome as I am a snowboarder and skull candy are a well recognised make for snowboarders and come complete with a fitted bottle opener just for a giggle. The headphones have a frequency range of 100 to 18,000 Hz and an impedance of 50 ohms, in English that means they make a pretty good sound.

Skull candy headphones are a perfect combination of fashion and function, they make a good quality sound and at the same time they are a very cool fashion accessory. I think the thing most people want in a product other than for it to function well is for it to look good at the same time. it is just the human way to want to be recognised in having the latest products on the market, for instance I could have purchased a pair of headphones with equal sound quality specifications for around about 20 pounds, but instead I chose to pay 45 pounds for the skull candys in order to be recognised by other snowboarders and audio enthusiasts. There is a lot to be said for paying for the label, not only do u purchase the product, u purchase the recognition of owning a quality piece of equipment.

EzVision specks

Write 300 word article that tells the audience about a recent multimedia technology that is being or has been developed in the last six months and explain what you think the impact this technology will have upon society.

The EzVision original and the most recent EzVision X4 are a very interesting product. Both versions are light weight virtual reality eyewear and plug into your iPod Video or a portable DVD player or anything with an AV output, and shows your movies as though you're looking at a huge screen. The Original shows you movies at the equivalent of a 50 inch screen, and the X4 a 60 inch screen. Click the link to read more about this product. http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/gadgets-gizmos/digital-dvd/ezvision-eyewear/index.html
And to see a close up video of this product click the following http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZ8khtM4XyM

More interesting than the EzVision eyewear is what a virtual reality product such as this one could lead to in the future. A more advanced version of the EzVision specks may have a far better surround than a virtual 60 inch screen. By this I mean a 360 degree view that moves corresponding to the users head movements. If a technology like this was to be used along side a virtual program such as World of Warcraft or Second life, you would see things as if u were in this virtual world. For those who have never heard of these programs click the links. http://www.trywarcraft.com/index.html http://secondlife.com/

EzVision specks are a human interface device for the eyes. The specks could possibly be used in unison with other human interface devices for other parts of the body, such as a suit which animates your online character according to your body movements, then we have achieved complete virtual reality.

Another interesting development may be using virtual reality specks alongside Holophonic sound. Holophonic sound is recorded by two microphones positioned as though they were ears and panned either side of the stereo spectrum. It is virtual reality audio that works over stereo headphones combining the two technologies could create an interesting AV virtual reality that can be experienced from your home computer. To experience Holophonic sound for yourself click the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUDTlvagjJA
